Saturday, November 15th!

Morning Everyone!

Update to draining....went into Boston on Tuesday morning and they drained site again via ultrasound...removed 60 CC this time! This time was cool....actually had a resident in watching so the radiologist talked through the whole thing explaining what she was doing and I actually was able to watch the ultrasound screen also! But, although a cool experience, the fluid is back again!!!! So I'm now 7 weeks post surgery and still can not start radiation! So, this week is my week to "get mad".....this is now more then just an inconvenience.....it's postponing my treatment! I'll call on Monday AM again to B&W Breast Center but also going to try to talk with Dana Faber Oncologist since I'm now moving into unsafe territory by not being able to start adjuvant treatment.....that is treatment after surgery to aid in ensuring no more cancer!

On the home front....I think this weekend is our first weekend of neither child being home or us having to drive to one of schools!!! Caitlin did come home on Tuesday (Veteran's day holiday). She spent her day with CJ and mom & dad and then we all had dinner at Bobby's...so it was nice! I think next time we see them will be Thanksgiving! Both seem to be doing good....Caitlin has booked her trip to LA to see John...she is leaving January 7th and arrives back home on January 12th....she is using her free airline ticket she received when her trip to Seattle in May had issues! Sean called the other night...he is officially a brother in his fraternity (I can't remember the name!)...no more pledging! He seems to be happy, and also feeling better! I had a long talk with him about our deal.....if grades were not up to par...he wasn't staying! So I guess he took me seriously, he has now gone for extra help in economics and has a student tutor.....so looks like he understands!
