The cancer has gotten smaller! So I'll continue on this treatment plan for another 2 cycles or 8 weeks and be retested again! Yesterday was a nerve racking day...but ended on a good note! I have copies of both CT scans, the one early Sept and the one from Monday. Here is the official words..."Interim significant response to therapy within the lung, with significant decrease in size of the larger pulmonary nodules. Some of the less than 5mm pulmonary nodules appear stable in size. Mediastinal adenopathy has also decreased"!
Report outlines all the nodules present and shows what size they were and what they are now, biggest decrease is the lymph node in the mediastinal area (between the lungs)...it was 6.4 x 5.3 cm in Sept...it now measures 3.9 x 4.8 cm!
All in all good results and I'll continue forward now for another 8 weeks! Treatment continues this Friday!
