All of my required scanning is complete and first Chemo treatment as part of trial is next Friday, September 11th. Dana Farber called yesterday, blood and IV put in at 7:15am, doctor at 8:00am and infusion begins at 9:00am. I have been assigned to Group C of the trial which will have be getting Biological: bevacizumab which has a brand name of Avastin and Chemo Drug: ixabepilone. In reading through everything I think this si the best group for me....I've already had the taxol which was a possibility in this study and it didn't work. Heading up to NH for the holiday weekend...a little later than planned but still enough time to relax and enjoy the last weekend of summer!
