1st Treatment update - Friday, Sept 11th

It Friday evening and 1st treament is complete. It was a long day but it's over. We were in Boston for 7:15 this morning, had IV put in and blood draw; saw the onc doctor at 8:00 for the final sign-off to be part of this trial. The scans from last week didn't show anything further to really worry about. Bone Scan was clean and CT scan showed what appers to be cysts(very small on my liver), but nothing to worry about now they will just watch them! Funny thing..CT scan showed some infection in my tooth! Yes, I've had a tooth ache off and on for a year now, but I hate the dentist, happens that the day of the scan my tooth was killing me and the CT Scan showed it! Oh well, right now tooth is ok so I'll just wait and see what happens! So after doctor visit, went to infusion center for 9:00am appointment, it was a long wait...didn't get taken in until around 10:00...I guess they didn't take all the blood they were surpose to this morning so they had to get approvel to use results from last week for certain tests! So it was about 10:15 when first pre meds started and everything was complete just about 2:00...so just under 4 hours! My pre meds included benerdryl, so I was very sleepy but the lady's IV box next to me was constantly setting off alarms so I didn't get much sleep! We made it home pretty quickly and I went straight to bed! And here I am....about 7:30Pm and fell OK, just tied at this point! That all for now....I'll update alter on the weekend!
