Since it sounds like many of you are still reading...here's what has happened the past month or so..
August surgery removed 4 lymph nodes...2 were cancer! Had PET scan on Sept 6th....no cancer in any major organ but slight glowing in left collar bone areas. Transferred into Dana Farber Cancer Institute...met with new Oncologist. They believe the cancer in the lymph nodes was always there...so this is not a recurrence...so that's good! Looks like the sentenial node biopsy last July failed to find these! But...on the bad side...the Chemo didn't kill it! Anyways, off for more test...had CT of neck area...Clean so nothing to worry about in collar bone. MRI of both breasts....found 2 small tumors...had needle biopsy via ultra sound and both came back negative! So....surgery tomorrow to remove all remaining lymph nodes under the left armpit...a complete lymph node dissection of the left auxiliary...official name!
So I believe my path forward after surgery will just be radiation to the lymph node area! No more chemo! I'll try to post later in the week and let everyone know how the surgery goes!!!!!

Think of you often. I heard via the grapevine that surgery went well, TG. Keep writing, as I'm sure it is helping many, as well as yourself.
