I officially graduated and have a diploma to prove it! It's been a long haul but it's over! Friday was great...my mom did everything for the ice cream sundaes and everyone loved it! Caitlin wasn't able to make it but Sean did, so that was good....he had never been before so at least he got to see how it worked! Caitlin has been before so she already knew what it was like although it would have been nice to have them both there for the last one! Here's how it works now....I've been handed over to the Radiologist team and will not need to go back to Oncologist until end of March! My first visit with radiologist is next Friday @ 11:00am where I'll find out all the next steps and I think also have all my prep work done! Hope to start the week of February 25th....NP said to be prepared for anywhere from 5 to 7 weeks......I told her she had always said just 5....so my plans of having this complete end of March may not come true but we'll see! And also....this central port is coming out.....wanted to have it removed the 8th but doctor wasn't available...so appointment Friday the 15th at 7:00am!!!
Oh ya...the dose and liver....final dose was back to norm...I didn't have to make up what I missed, but my liver still elevated....so for drinking.....I am going for blood work on Thursday as normal and they will call me on Friday with my liver numbers and to let me know whether or not I can have a beer during the Superbowl!!! Keep your fingers crossed...I lived through the Red Sox World Series without a beer so I guess I could wait but I just want one beer!!!!!!
