I'm Still Here! It's Friday, November 16th

So Sorry for not posting! I changed my morning routines, thus not taking the time to sit at our home computer each day!!! Been a very busy few weeks at work, but I can say I feel good and we have accomplished a lot at work with our new systems! I am tired, but no real sickness....this new dose/chemical isn't like the other which is great! Although my energy level is not the same, it's great not to feel nauseous!!!!! So...today is treatment#3 of 12! Based on what I've been told....if the first two are OK, it should be fine throughout. They said the only real cumulative side effect is fatigue...which as long as I sleep my 10 hours or so a night I can hopefully stay on top of. Oh ya....they said I could see some hair growth beginning and I think I do...problem is it's either very, very light blond or it's white!!!! But at this point, color doesn't matter much, it's nice to feel the little stumbles in areas that were truly bald!!! So I know I promised last week to post daily, so I'm not going to promise again because not sure I will....I do know that after treatment today, I will be knocked out for 24 hours or so, but that's OK, because I love to sleep!! I am taking vacation from work next week and I will NOT have a treatment next Friday because the infusion center is closed on Friday. Horray!!! So I will be extending this treatment an extra week in January, but it should be worth it to have hopefully a normal Thanksgiving weekend! I intend to just spend time at home with Bernie and the kids and hopefully put up the Christmas tree and get the house ready for the holiday! I think we all need to get in the spirit of Christmas early this year and enjoy it!!!! Have a good day all....and thanks for reading and caring!!
