Morning all! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days! This cold has now moved into my chest and is really knocking me out!!! Hoping to just rest again today and try to beat this...I have a busy week ahead...meetings at work all day Tuesday & Weds. and then Treatment# 3 on Thursday!!!
Well the Red Sox are definitely in the playoffs! They won last night so, we definitely will be there...now it's just to determine...do we win the American league East Title or the Wild Card? And guess who where fighting with...yes the Yankees!!! We are 2.5 games ahead of them for the East title with 7 games to go!!!!!
I did stay up for the game last night since I had slept most of the day. Sean informed me that he and I could not watch any of the playoff games together! He reminded me that we all watched the 2003 series together and the Red Sox ended up losing and that in 2004 the same thing happened until I left on a business trip!!! Yes...I was traveling during the ending of the 2004 series with the Yankees and during the actual world series games also!!! How ironic...I was in New Jersey (Yankee territory!) for I think games 5, 6, & 7 of the American League Championship games and then in Springfield Missouri for the World Series win over the St. Louis Missouri Cardinals!!! Well...they'll be no traveling for me this October, but I guess being a "true" "superstitious" Red Sox fan....Sean and I will need to be as far apart as possible for these upcoming games!!!!!
