Monday Morning September 24th

I'm up and moving but not sure for how long. This cold is really doing a number on me! Definitely moved to my chest and staying there! Last night started feeling like someone was sitting on my chest! So plans today are to get to work, finalize a few things "just in case" and call the doctor! I would assume I'll probably need to have a chest X-ray to determine how the lungs look, but we'll have to wait and see! And to add to it...this port is once again driving me crazy!!! It's very itchy and when I itch it it feels like it starts to move and then feels sore again!!! Not sure if or how this will affect my treatment on Thursday.

Hair update...although I shaved my head, as I'm sure you noticed in the pictures, I was not actually "bald" still had a bout a 1/4 of an inch of hair (I couldn't go any shorter for risk of cuts and bleeding!). We'll now the little stumbles (multi colored by the way!!!) are falling out quickly! I have major true bald spots on various areas of my head!! And, I'm constantly itchy around my neck area, just like I just had a hair cut! At this rate, I would say I will be completely bald...just like "Mr. Clean" within a week or so!! I'll have to read up on how to keep my scalp shiny!!!

On the family front...everyone doing good! Bernie went up north to check on the Jet Ski on Saturday....he road it for a while to make sure everything was OK and then gave it back to the repair shop to have it winterized! So, no more jet ski for this season!!! He probably could have waited a few more weeks before putting it away for the winter but it was easy to just do it now! We have a lot going on between my treatments and getting some work down in the yard before winter actually hits! We need to "reconfigure" our driveway and yard!!! The beginning area of our driveway is "common" with the house next door. The house has been for sale with no one living there for over a full year, so having 4 cars hasn't been an issue, we were able to park in various different areas, but the house has now been sold....our new neighbors move in sometime this week...I haven't met them but the Realtor said it's a young single woman! So, since we can not park on the street over night, we need to find a way to park 4 cars! Intent is to extend driveway up the side of the garage which would give us 2 more spaces but takes away some of the yard!! Bernie took down the fence in that area and so far looks like it will work! Only problem is poor Jake (the dog!!) has been so use to just going out in the yard without being tied, now he has to be on a chain since the yard is no longer fenced in....he doesn't like it....this morning he never left the back porch!!! Once I'm ready to leave this morning, I'll have to stay outside with him and let him run for a while!!! We never thought of "parking" more then 2 cars when we bought this house 15 years ago but now we do!!! Although, we're doing this and will probably not need 4 spaces for that long if both Caitlin and Sean go off to college by next September!!
