C-Day Update (before)

Morning everyone! Today's the day! I slept an extra hour this morning, so feel pretty good! Appointment has been changed from 8:30 to 9:00...not sure why, Caitlin took the message and didn't ask!!! Port still very uncomfortable, hoping after this treatment they can fix the bandages! Had to go back to hospital yesterday afternoon, I guess I'm allergic to the type of tape they applied on the port incisions. I now have tape blisters....boy do they hurt! They removed all the clear tape, it has a name but I can't remember what it was, began with a "t"....anyways, I'm suppose to tell all medical people I can only have Paper Tape in the future. Guess what, paper tape doesn't hold!!!! They gave me a big roll so I can keep taping it down but it does not want to stay in place! Not sure if it's the tape or because the skin under it is very sore. They cleaned the areas with hydrogen peroxide....that hurt!!!! But...almost over...after treatment today, they will remove the tubes hanging out and then on Friday I can remove the bandages and take a shower!! Gotta go....I'll update when I get back...even if just a few quick words!!! Probably will not be until 2:00PM or after!!!!
