OK...today is Day#7 from last treatment and Game #1 of World Series is tonight!
Today begins my first day day of white blood cell count drop, so need to careful of germs and get my sleep! Not sure I'll stay awake for tonight's complete game...but I'll try! Last night was tough sleeping...having a lot of "hot flashes" which are now waking be up! I think I was awake at least 5 different times last night! And that's not me...I can usually sleep sound for 10 hours without waking! I just need to be careful and try to get my rest....I am convinced that because I have been sleeping good, that is why I've been able to keep going through this! So original schedule is to work from home tomorrow and Friday....tomorrow is a definite but I think I'll use a vaca day for Friday (other then a conf call in AM)...Bernie is taking the day off so it will be nice to have Friday afternoon together! This should be my "feeling good" weekend! As for how I'm feeling...I think the nausea battle is gone for this treatment, but the heartburn and indigestion are still there! Actually seems to be much more then previous treatments...maybe this is one of the side effects that is cumulative because the normal prilosec pills aren't helping...but I take the antacid tablets all the time and they take it away temporally.
Back in early posts I had link to Patrick's Blog outlining his preparation for the New York Marathon...here it is again...http://www.bloggen.be/runpatrun/#top! While it was almost 12 weeks ago both he and I started these blogs ...his journey to the New York Marathon is almost complete...just about one more week...Nov 4th is the Marathon! We even accomplished creating a RED SOX Fan in Belgium! So...Good Luck Patrick!
To end today, a saying (a little modified to fall in line with blogging)...
Happiness is when what you think, what you say (& write), and what you do are in harmony. --Mahatma Gandhi
