No treatment today!! Oncologist said with this chest cold there was way too much of a chance it would turn into pneumonia since the chemo kills of your white blood cells. So I'm to finish up the antibiotics and rest. So Chemo day #3 is now next Thursday @ 10:00am. Need to have more blood drawn next Weds before treatment just to make sure!!! With all this I'll not be finished with this chemo until end of January 2008!!! Going to just rest today, do some work from home tomorrow and rest for the weekend! I did ask if postponing was less effective and he said another week would not make a difference, but anything further could...so I need to rest and get well to get back on a normal schedule!!! I'll also need to figure something out with day 7 -10 after the next Chemo since that's when my white cells are the lowest...and it was day 11 I woke up with this cold!!!!!
So going to go rest in the air conditioning...yes it's September 27th and it feels like a summer day in July!

i know it's difficult for you but try to take the needed rest to recover. (yes daddy ..)
Hope you will recover soon so #3 can start.
Will cross more the fingers during the next coming days. Do not worry too much :))
Side effects are normal.
