Treatment#2 is over!!! It's about 1:30pm and I'm home! They did not use the port since it is still sore, so used a normal IV through my hand! It was fine...I was little more confined since I couldn't use my right hand, but that's OK it went pretty quick...I was hitched up at 10:00 and it was finished around 12:30 or so! Trying something new for meds...instead of compazaine for the nausea I am suppose to take ativan every 8 hours and stay on the Tylenol every 4 hours!! They actually think the headaches are from the 5 day anti nausea shot I get before treatment, not the actual chemo. So we'll try this and see what happens this time. If this doesn't work they will skip the shot and give me pills that I will take every 12 hours beginning before treatment!!! I hate taking pills so let's hope this works! Back to infusion center tomorrow @1:00 for the white blood cell booster shot then that's it until next time if everything is OK! They agreed to get me back on the Thursday schedule, so treatment#3 is scheduled for Thursday, September 27th at 9:30am. I'll need to have blood drawn am on the 26th!
So again..right after treatment...I feel good! I had Tylenol and an ativan before treatment and so far OK.

A lot of new stuff to read today on your blog!! Its good that you share your journey with us! You are indeed good surrounded by friends and family; It's one big team that will make you recover completely. Indeed , it's a different look (and not so bad at all!) with short cut hair. But don't worry , it's the same lady inside :))
Hopefully the treatment #2 is giving you minimal bad feelings.
